another posting from work. a rather joyful entry i would say.

this year's birthday celebration was spent over a week, according to my own definition. it started off last week this time....

on thursday i met up with stella to go shopping at iora. haha. bought quite alot of stuff. 1 skirt, 2 tops, 1 jacket. hee. walked walked talked talked. got to hear some shocking news. now just hope that everything's ok.

on friday, last minute arrangement, i went to look for mummy at her office, with only one thing in mind, shopping!! haha. i owe her this much. to bring her go shop for new clothes. and i think i did justice to that night. spent quite alot, bought quite alot. its so nice buying somethings for persons i love with my own hard earned money. well, i did buy alot for myself too... heee..

on saturday, rather last minute arrangement, i met up with teresa and min for lunch at amigo, funan. the food there really not bad, and i was given 10% discount. hee. anyway it was funny cause we really only ordered one full lunch set meal, in the aala carte menu. so we paid about twice the amount. but anyway lesson learnt. good price for good food. can go try some time again pals.

received a call at 1pm, saturday from home."we're going segamat" "now? then what time come back?" "tomorrow" "EH?!??" yup. then i made my way home about 3 plus to pack stuff and off we go on a squeky drive up to segamat for a one night stay. its been a very very long time since our family has such an outing. i classify this as our pre bday celebration. hee. with alcohols and lots lots of food. ps. i got heavier by another 1kg at the end of the trip. currently i'm still trying to lose it.

monday - birthday actual. thomas, david etc bought a cake for me. a full 1kg cake which thomas early in the morning went from sengkang to tampines to deliver to tuas. a very simple and sweet celebration. touched. thanks. after work, met up with the gang at vivocity. this year lacked surprises, but touching and comfortable nonetheless. it was a well earned rest cum gathering for all. missya
